The Walkinson Group (TWG) is a SBA-Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) led by two combat veterans and a Department of Defense contractor. We combine field and executive experience in federal, state, and municipal contracting with a shared-services construction management model. TWG provides hands-on construction management and turnkey back-office capabilities so partners can pursue and perform larger, complex projects with confidence.

Teaming, Joint Ventures & How We Work With You

Joint Venture / Mentor-Protégé: TWG can join as a JV partner or deputy construction manager in mentor-protégé or JV structures, providing management, compliance, and shared services integration.
Subcontract / Teaming Partner: TWG performs construction management, QA/QC, safety, and back-office functions as an integrated subcontractor.
Shared-Services Mentee Support: TWG provides back-office and compliance services to small set-aside firms to expand operational capacity.

Owners & Leadership — Proven Experience

TWG is owned and led by three principals — two service-disabled combat veterans and one DoD contractor — with VP and senior leadership experience at:

Marine Corps, and U.S. Army.
Our team brings program controls, field operations, compliance, and capture experience on
large federal and municipal programs.

Tim Walsh

Managing Member

Is a retired US Army Special Operations Sergeant First Class living in Lombard IL. Tim is a seasoned operations and safety manager who has planned and executed dozens of combat missions in austere environments through synchronizing and deconflicting teams from multiple disciplines to ensure successful outcomes. Tim is a proven leader who has delivered the highest quality of safety and compliance services to a diverse range of clientele including corporate, municipal, and private partners.

Scott Wilkinson

Managing Member

Former department of defense contractor for Fluor and Jacobs. Is a corporate efficiency consultant with large scale general contracting clients; Clark, Harkins, Consigli, Clyco, Jacobs, Turner, Graystar.

Jeff Wilkinson

Managing Member

Is a retired Marine Corps Combat Arms Officer that resides in Tucson AZ. Jeff has Master’s degrees in strategic planning and management and over seven (7) years’ experience as a VP /Program Manager with Kellogg Brown & Root, Fluor Daniel, DynCorp’s and Amentum supporting our Nations Warfighters in Iraq, Afghanistan & Guam.
